Now lay out all your block units as shown at left. Sew the short rectangle pairs to the outer sides of the quarter squares. Sew the Square Pairs between quarter square units....and now just sew the completed rows together to make the block! You did it!! :o)

This quilt is three blocks by four, with a pieced rectangle and square border, a wide plaid border, then a thinner plaid border! This would be a GREAT quilt, done in real Tartans!

Color 1 needs: two 5-1/4" squares

Color 2

Color 2 needs: one 1-1/2" x 14" strip AND one 1-1/2" x 10" strip AND one 2-1/2" x 11-1/2" strip
Color 3 Color 3 needs: two 5-1/4" squares AND one 1-1/2" x 13" strip AND one 1-1/2" x 10" strip AND one 2-1/2" x 12" strip
