Easy Fish Block - Page 2

Place this 3-D fin, fold side down on the right side of a Fish Body Square. Place a Quarter Square unit, right side down, atop that, and catch the fin unit in that scant 1/4" seam. This seam will be a bit bulky...

Now with the above mentioned units...piece your quilt! You can construct this by quilt size row, if you prefer, but refer to your graph paper drawing for placement of each fish and its fins! Embroider on some Fish Eyes if you like!

 Here is an approx 64" square quilt, three rows of three" blocks-worth" of Fish!

FISH-Color 1

Color 1 needs: one 4-1/2" square ( or 2 if you want the 3D fin) AND one 5-1/4" square

FINS-Color 2

Color 2 needs: one 5-1/4" square AND two 4-7/8" squares
