Fold down the top fabric , bringing the two slant (half triangles strips) up so that they match up. Stitch along that seam to within  1/4"  pivot the fabrics again so that the remaining edges align, and stitch to the edge...and That's it! :o)

This quilt shows block to block construction surrounded on three sides by a thin Color 1 strip, then a row around of matched flying geese, with extra flying geese in the bottom corners...SO Pretty!
