The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Toad in the Puddle Variation Block! You will need to print out four copies of  the corner unit needed and two copies of the block side unit, and one copy of the block center unit per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters will be fine for this!

When all the pieces are done, join them as shown at left. First sew the side strips to the center unit, then sew on the corners, sewing opposite pairs first. Finis! :o)

The quilt is a  four by five with two thin borders, a wider border, and a thin binding!

Happy Quilting All!
