Now add the last rectangle to the right side, being sure the bottom edges are aligned. Press seam to dark side. Then fold the top of the block down, right sides together to line up that last un-sewn seam. Take one Backstitch at the start, then stitch from the inside to the outer edge...

Lay out all your squares, half squares, and the center unit as shown at left. Sew half square pairs to the left and right of the center unit, pressing seams towards the half squares. Sew top and bottom block rows as shown at left. Add top and bottom rows to the middle unit, and you are all done!

Here on its side, is a quilt of four blocks by five, with a plain border and cornerstones, then a piano key border :o)
