This makes a 10" block and is paper pieced !

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Pinwheel Skew! You will need to print out Two copies of the template A page, and one of the B page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. FQ's will be fine!

After your units are paper pieced, sew together the two center square units. Then add the side strips in the order shown at left.  After sewing on the last strip fold right sides together to get the last seam section. Done!

This is four blocks by five...just a wacky scrap quilt :o)
