I have looked for your guestbook every time I visit but I just didn't go down far enough.

I"m looking at taking up quilting - something to do in my "spare time".
Thank you for the patterns, which one to choose becomes such a big decision. I know it
will take me many weeks, oh lets be honest, years! I have seen in a local shop here
(Australia the Quilt as You Go technique, which I understand is favoured by quilters from

What a wonderful site Thank you. I have just started quilting I MADE my first quite for my
daugther for her apparment. She has just moved to Melbourne to start work. I missed her

Never underestimate the power of relaxation. In 95, I was just getting into quilting.
Straight lines and correct blocks did not exist. But I loved it. In 96 an unwanted friend
appeared in my head. So after relearning how to walk and chew gum, I got b ck to my
quilting as my sanity needed rebuilding., low and behold, corners were starting to match
up and squares actually were. Then much to my frustration, a little part of the unwanted
friend reared it's ugly head again. But while the pain pills wou d work for short periods
of time, I have found that prayer and quilting actually give long term relief from pain.
It still hurts a lot, but when I sit at my Viking and pieced together those seams for the
Baby Bud, or pick out material for the Star quilt r even just cut 2" squares for a
ragamuffing scrap quilt, I can just feel the relaxing calm that comes from both prayer and
my colorerful and happy pieces of material. Am I any good at this .... heck no, but I know
that the time that He has given me to p ay and enjoy what I'm doing is also giving my body
time to attempt to heal and mend and in the that period of time, I am also making things
for the grand children that I may not have gotten to before. So, if the squares aren't
perfect, and the seams aren t always 1/4" and sometimes, that blue that you thought
as going to be so wonderful, isn't..... really is wonderful. Because you're doing it. I
have gotten a lot of pleasure from this open web page and may you keep it going as there
are many of us that re not right up there with the tops quilters that appreicate the
simplicity that your blocks offer and the enthusiam that keeps us coming back for more.

Would love to see your site, if I could! Please, would you go to your site and see what
you think? Your writing overlaps onto your quilted background, and is quite difficult to
see and read. I have a WebTV, which if you don't know my "Screen" is a TV, thus
I have used the TV remote to alter/chan e the background color, tint, contrast, etc. to no
avail. Sorry, perhaps you could change it somehow so it is more enjoyable.? I will come

Hello Marcia--You answered me away back in October and I love the patterns. In my guild we
are exchanging snowman patterns and I'am using part of your snowman. I have changed some
of it so that I can paper piece it. I enjoy my new found hobby of quilti g, along with the

directed another to this site to find a "grandmothers fan' pattern. I found it and
printed it out. The presentation and directions are great. I have more projects in

Just wanted to let you know I visit your site often. It is awesome. Love the colors and

I have had an absolute blast exploring your alpha listing of quilts and the other sites
