The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Morning Stars Block! You will need to print out four copies of the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters will be ample!

After your units are all paper pieced, sew them together as shown at left. For ease of piecing this. you may want to slightly narrow your seam allowances as they approach the center, and try pressing the seams either open, or all in one direction. It can be a bit of a bear when all the seams meet in the center :o)

The quilt is four blocks by five, with a very narrow border, then two wider ones!

Happy Quilting 'til Next Time!
