The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Paper Piecing Practice Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Logs in Logs Scrap Block! You will need to print out four copies of  the corner unit, and one copy of the center unit per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Get out your Scraps Basket!

After you have your units paper pieced, join them as shown at left using as always a SCANT 1/4" seam...And this puppy is DONE! :o) Good Job!!

The quilt as shown here would actually be very small, about 22" x 32"..depending on the size of your binding. You need to make LOTS of these for a  bed sized quilt...but it will be well worth your efforts!
