Start by cutting the Color 1  2-1/2" x 7-1/2" strip into three 2-1/2" squares...

Then cut the Color 1  4-7/8" square in half once on the diagonal to make two half square triangles...

 Now cut the Color 1  3-3/4" x 12" strip into eight  1-7/8" x 3" rectangles...
Next cut the Color 2  1-7/8" x 3-3/4" strip into two 1-7/8" squares...

Then cut the Color 2  2-7/8" x 5-3/4" strip into two  2-7/8" squares. Stack these and cut them once on the diagonal to get four half square triangles...
Now cut the Color 2  3-1/4" x 6-1/2" strip into two 3-1/4" squares. Stack these and cut them twice on the diagonal to make eight quarter square triangles

Cut the Color 2  5" x 9" strip into four 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" rectangles...

Using a 1/4" seam, sew Color 2 half square triangles right sides together to the top and right sides of a Color 1 square. Press seams towards triangles.  Make two units like this. Sew a Color 1 half square triangle to each of these. Press seams towards half square triangles. Trim units to 4-1/2" square if needed...on to Page 2!
