This one is for Sara; it makes an 8" block, and is paper pieced!

Please abide by the Terms and Conditions of use! :o)

Click here for the paper piecing template.

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Laced Star! You will need to print out four copies of each of the units needed per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. A Fat Quarter of each fabric should be plenty!

Now sew the left and top triangles together, using a 1/4" seam. Press the seam allowance towards the darker fabric. Repeat with the bottom and right triangle, then sew the two halves together!

Here are three blocks by four!

Happy Quilting!
