The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Four Crowns block! You will need to print out two copies of the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters will be fine!

After all units are paper pieced, join the two center units, then add two side units. Add corner units to the ends of the remaining two side units. Sew the three rows together to complete your block!
