You also need one  2-1/2" center square!

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try an Evening Migration block! You will need to print out two copies of the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat quarters should be plenty! 

Once your units are paper pieced, lay them all out as shown at left. Sew three horizontal rows, then join those rows to finish your block!
