This makes a 9" block and is paper pieced !

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try an Eight Point Allover Block! You will need to print out one copy of each template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat quarters will be fine!

After your units are paper pieced, lay them out in horizontal rows as shown at left. Sew the three rows, pressing the seams of the top and bottom rows to the center, and the middle row to the outside. Join the three rows and it is done!

This quilt is four blocks by five, with simple straight borders :o)
