Now we will inset the trapezoid H into the corner formed by the F piece and the parallelogram. Place the top of the trapezoid against the bottom of the parallelogram, right sides together. Stitch this using a SCANT 1/4" seam from the left edge to a point 1/4" from the inner edge of the trap. Leaving the needle in the fabric fold the fabric up, pivoting the trap. to match up to the left side of the F piece. Resume stitching to the lower edge of the F piece...

Lastly, join the two block halves, by placing them right sides together. Starting from the top, sew down to the first angular directional change. Keep the needle down and pivot the fabric as needed to continue stitching. Stitch to the next angular directional change. Keep the needle down and pivot the fabric again to continue stitching to the blocks edge. Whew...DONE!! :o)

This quilt is a three by three,  each block of which is surrounded by double strips of Colors 1 and 2, applied in a Log Cabin fashion.
