= Now pin a petal atop each triangle, again after turning under the edges. You will have to needle turn under the inside corners of these pieces and appliqué securely using thread to match petals...

The quilt is nine blocks set on point with colored spacer blocks; quadruple borders around the whole highlight the block's colors. :o)

Color 1 Color 1 needs: two 5-1/2" x 3/4" strips AND eight 2-3/4" x 1-1/2" leaves
Color 2 Color 2 needs: four half square triangles cut from  two 2-1/2" squares
Color 3 Color 3 needs: four "petals" cut from 2-1/2" squares
Color 4 Color 4 needs: one 8-1/2" square
