Using the pattern provided cut two stems, eight leaves, four triangles and four "petals". Find the center of the base square. Fold edges of stem pieces in along each long side. Pin down across center point, and appliqué, using thread to match the stems... |

Now pin on the eight leaves, after you have pressed under 1/8"- 1/4" on the edges. Appliqué using thread to match the leaves... |

Press under the edges on each triangle. Pin at
the end of each stem, overlapping the rough stem ends. Appliqué, using thread to match
the triangles...
