This makes a 7" block, stems from around 1930, and is paper pieced!

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Bow Block! You will need to print out one copy of each of the units needed per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. A Fat Quarter of each fabric will be plenty!

When your units are paper pieced, join them as shown at left! This makes a great border block!...or could be cute scattered across a quilt top also!... Happy Quilting!...Marcia :o)

Here's one that Cecelia made!

Here's an idea of its look as a border! :o)
