Next, sew a Color 3 quarter square triangle to a Color 2 triangle, pressing seam towards the darker fabric. Sew a Color 2 triangle to a Color 1 triangle, pressing towards the Color 2 triangle. Join these units to make a quarter square. Make four of these units. These should measure 4-1/2"...

Piece the block by making rows as shown at left. Be sure to alternate pressing directions with each addition to avoid bulkiness in the seams....and That's all there is to this one! :o)

The quilt has thin Color 3 sashing strips around each block, and is then surrounded by a thin Color 2 border strip, and a Color 1 binding...or.....
