Now join  all the units we cut out and sewed into rows as shown at left, using the standard 1/4" seam allowance and pressing seams in alternating directions by row. Join the rows to make the block! You're done! :o) That wasn't so tough, was it!?
  

The quilt as shown here combines five rows of four blocks each, in straight setting across each row.  You can achieve even more funky quilts by rotating  alternating blocks before sewing together...or alternating block directions by row!
