Sew quarter square triangles to each side of two traps, pressing seams towards triangles...

Sew the remaining two traps to the center square, pressing seams towards traps...

Now sew the corner units to the center strip, pressing seams towards the outer triangles...
Make the top and bottom rows of the block by joining Color 2 and Color 3 squares with half squares, as shown at left...

Make the side units as shown at left, with a Color 2 square and two half squares...

Sew the sides to the block center, pressing seams towards the sides, and then add the top and bottom strips, pressing seams towards the top and bottom. That's It! :o)

( or Make thirteen blocks for the quilt! )
