This makes a 42" x 54" quilt ! 

Here's an easy one using all Squares, Half-Squares and Strips!

This is an original pattern. Please abide by the Terms and Conditions of use! :o)

** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Quilt **

Start by marking and cutting the two Color 1 and two Color 2  2-7/8" x 28-3/4" strips into ten 2-7/8" squares from each strip...

Cut each of the 2-7/8" squares in half once on the diagonal, and using a scant 1/4" seam allowance sew them together into half squares. Trim these back to measure 2-1/2" if needed. Make 40 of these...

Now mark and cut the Color 1 and Color 2  2-1/2" x 17-1/2" strips into seven 2-1/2" squares from each strip...

Sew three Color1 and three Color 2  1-1/2" x 39" strips right sides together along a long edge, and using a scant 1/4" seam allowance. Press to dark sides. Make two units like this.   Cut the two longer strip sets at 6-1/2"  intervals for a total of twelve strip units. Also sew together three Color 1 and three Color 2  1-1/2" x 6-1/2" strips in the same manner, to give you thirteen units like this...

Sew three Color1 and three Color 2  1-1/2" x 39" strips right sides together along a long edge, and using a scant 1/4" seam allowance. Press to dark sides. Make two units like this. Cut the strip sets at 1-1/2"  intervals for a total of seventy-two strip units...on to Page 2!
