Sew the Color 4  1-1/2" x 36-1/2" strips to the top and bottom of the quilt, then add the tree rows with half squares to the top and bottom...

Sew the Color 1  1-1/2" x 36-1/2" border strips to the top and bottom of the quilt, and then the remaining Color 1 border strips to the left and right!
