| The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Twisting Spools Block! You will need to print out one copy of each template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters will be fine! |

After your three units are paper pieced, sew them together as shown at left. This one is nice and easy! :o) |

Shown here are four blocks by four...but to funk them up a little, I added strips, log cabin style, around each one in an uneven number...one row all the way around each block in clockwise order, then a second row on the next two sides only...just for fun :o) Happy Quilting All! Marcia :o) |
