Triangle Chain - Page 2

Then sew  two Color 1 and Color 3  3-1/8"  half square triangles together, again using a 1/4" seam to make two half squares. Press to darker sides. Add Color 3  3-1/8" half square triangles to the left and top of each of these half squares, pressing seams towards newly added triangles. Add a Color 1 5-3/8" hst to each of these pieced triangles. Press towards larger triangles...

Lay out all four units as shown at left. Sew two horizontal rows, pressing the seams towards the Color 1 hsts. Join the tow rows to finish your block!

Here are four blocks by five with two simple 2-1/2" borders :o) Alternate blocks are rotated to form the pattern you see :o)
