Now fold the unit over so that the un sewn square edge is aligned with the petal fork un sewn edge, right sides together. Stitch from the previous stopping point to the square's edge...

Now place one of the Color 3 quarter square triangles against the left top petal "V", right sides together. Sew from the left top edge to within 1/4" of the point, then fold and swing it up to match the other side of the petal "V", keeping needle down as you do this. Sew to edge. Repeat this with the other Petal "V" spot and another Color 3 quarter square triangle...

Sew a Color 2 half square to the bottom of the "rose" unit...

Sew the other Color 2 half square triangle to the one Color 3 half square triangle that was cut from a 4-7/8" square. (Not shown) Sew this half square to the left end of a Color 3 rectangle...

Sew the other Color 3 rectangle to the left side of the rose unit...

Sew the Color 3 rectangle/half square unit to the bottom of the rose/rectangle unit... and That's it! :o)...One Texas Rose! ...on to Page 3!
