The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Stripes and Nine block! You will need to print out two copies of the template A page, and one of the template B page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper.  FQ's will be fine!

After your units are paper pieced, join the center sections. Then sew on opposing corner triangle units, and next add the remaining corner triangles. It's done! :o)

Shown here on its side, this quilt is four blocks by five with a pieced border!
