The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Striped Square Block! You will need to print out one copy of the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. It uses five different blue prints. Scraps or FQ's will be fine!

After your two units are paper pieced, join them as shown at left to make the block! The quilt, shown below on its side, is four blocks by six, with a pieced border. This would be small, however...so make more! It works best with an even number of rows across and up and down.
