Square and a Half - Page 2

Now piece the block! Lay out your units as shown at left, and sew five horizontal rows, again using 1/4" seams, and pressing seams in alternating directions by row. Join the rows and you've made a Square and a Half Block! :o)

This quilt shows just ten Square and a Half blocks, with an alternating block  in between. A Color 1 border comes next, and then a pieced border made of corner units from the alternating block!

Color 1 needs: one 2-1/2" x 10" strip AND one 3-1/4" x 6-1/2" strip AND one 2-7/8" x 17-1/4" strip

Color 2

Color 2 needs: one 2-1/2" x 12-1/2" strip AND one 3-1/4" x 6-1/2" strip AND one 2-7/8" x 17-1/4" strip
