This makes a 12" block!...includes regular template piecing, or paper piecing!

** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block **

Start this one by drafting your templates. Draw a 6" square on paper. Then draw a line from the upper left corner to the half way point of the lower side. ( The 3" point) Cut these two shapes out. Tape or stick them to new paper, and add 1/4"  to each side. Cut out these new pieces and transfer to the template material of your choosing...If you prefer, CLICK here for paper piecing templates, and skip the next four steps!

Now cut out two triangles of Color 1...

Cut out two triangles of Color 2...

Cut out four background shapes from Color 3....

Then sew the triangles of each color to the four background shapes, as shown at left. You will need two of each color combo. Trim to measure 6-1/2" each if needed...
