Next lay out all of the units as shown at left, with the extra Color 1  4-1/2" square as the block's center unit. Sew two half square pairs to two flying geese units. Add these to the left and right of the center Color 1 square to make the block's horizontal center row. Sew the top and bottom horizontal two rows by referring to the drawing at left. Now join these rows to complete the block!
