** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block ** 

Stack and cut the Color 1 and Color 2  9-1/4" squares in half twice on the diagonal to make four quarter square triangles of each. You will only need two of each per block, so save the others for another...

Sew pairs of triangles right sides together, using a 1/4" seam. Press seam towards the darker fabric. Make two units like this...

Sew the triangle units together as shown at left...on to Page 2!
