The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Pintangles block! You will need to print out two copies of the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat quarters should be plenty!

After you have paper pieced both units, join them as shown at left to complete the block! * Note...I've showed this block's background in a dark gray, so you can see the individual pieces more clearly, but really, it would be black, as shown in the quilt, since the border fabric has a black background!

Here are four blocks by five with simple plain borders!
