This makes a 12" block and is partly paper pieced!

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Pine Burr Block! You will need to print out one copy of each template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters will be plenty!

After your units are paper pieced and/or cut out (using the templates from temp page A) join the point sections as shown at far left, then add the corner and side triangles. Sew four of these together to complete the block! ...on to Page 2!
