This makes a 12" block, and is paper pieced!

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try an Other Side of Paradise Block! You will need to print out two copies of the template A + C pages, and one copy of template page B per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. FQ's will be fine!

After your units are paper pieced, lay them out as shown at left. Sew three horizontal rows, pressing the top and bottom row seams to the center, and the middle row seam to the outside.  Join those three rows and your block is done! Great Job...and Congrats on mastering another block!!

I started playing around with the addition of other colors here, in this three block by three block wall hanging...I liked the Fractured quality of it, as I imagine the other side of Paradise to be!
