I just learned about your quilt site from a friend at work. I have only started to check it out and I am really enjoying all the great quilts and patterns. I have been quilting for years. I reciently finished a quilt that is to be a wedding gift for my youngest son and his bride. It is a pattern called Morning Star from an Eleanor Burns book. Since then I have been making some small quilts to donate to Project Linus. I will be able to try out some of your quilt patterns for these.

Enjoyed looking at all your patterns! A friend of mine was glancing through a quilting book and saw a quilt made using socks. Later, when she wanted to take a better look, she could not locate the book. I would assume the socks were appliqued onto a background fabric. Have you ever seen such a pattern? Hi Marcia, Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your patterns and your letters. I've been visiting your site for a few months now and make it a habit to check for your new letters. I missed the earlier letters so am not sure of facts. Did you get married recently? If so Congrats! I'm one of the ones praying for snow. I live in Alaska and you guys out east got all our snow. We're lucly if we have a foot on the ground right now. We have had lots of rain and ice instead of snow. UGH!!! I am making a sampler quilt for my son and his wife.
