I have made only 2 quilts, but they were pretty nice. I donated one to my church for a raffle. Just yesterday, I found your site. Thank you...Thank you....Thank you, Marcia. I just discovered your website. Haven't seen all of your blocks yet but I am impressed with everything, as well as the comments of the guests. I also am a new quilter and wondered if anyone has Quilt in a day "Make a log cabin quilt in a Day" 1998 4th edition, or heard of (Stack and Whack quilt) yet? Thanks so much for putting patterns online. I am new to quilting and I'm making a scrap quilt using the spool pattern. I really enjoy your site and use your patterns alot. Right now I am in a bom with the Aspiring Quilters (Cheryll Garule) and also a ladies choice swap, where we select a block and the group will make four blocks for you. Hi Mamabear, I've been quilting for 10 years ever since my husband and I retired from our bakery. Two years ago one of our sons (we have four)insisted we needed a computer and sent us one. At 66 learning a new skill isn't easy but I've learned how to serf the internet and discovered you. I love your Quilter's cache page and have read through all your other pages. What a wonderful site. Your patterns and instructions are fantastic. Our church is just starting a quilting group and I am using some of your simple patterns to teach the first time quilters how to make a quilt block. Your instructions are so easy to follow. We will be making four different squares into a wall hanging and when those are finished, we will begin quilting a quilt to be raffeled off and making wheel chair quilts for persons in nursing homes. I have just printed out the Roman Stripe pattern for my quilting group - we aim to make a charity quilt using this pattern. I have just completed 25 Granny's Flower Garden Blocks to make a quilt for our bed - I think I need another 5 to make it big enough. What a great site!! I'm impressed at how effective you have made the blocks look using the graphics and other artwork. The instructions are also very clear. I have a question. My 22 year old son was killed 4 1/2 years ago. It has been my dream to make a quilt out of his clothes. As most kids his age, he wore lots of jeans, t-shirts and khaki. Hello To You, My sister is not yet have access to the internet but asked me to check out quilts on her behalf. You page is lovely I enjoy the sites with the music. Must be something new these days. My sister, Karen at some time took interest in quilting a quilt that represented all fifty states. By her information, she said that each state had it's own star and she did not know whow to obtain the patterns for all these states. Have you any information on this? I work as a nurse, and one of my friends told me about your sight because I am always on the hunt for a new pattern and make quilts myself which I got from my Grandmother.....I always enjoyed making them with her as a child....I have a few on my web site under my craft page that I have done this year...I make many baby quilts for all the gals at work that get pregnant, so it have become a wonderful tridition.

Hi, I love your site. My grandmother taught me how to sew when I was 5 years old. She taught me how to put blocks together and how they can be transformed into wonderful quilts. She died when I was young and I have forgotten most of what she taught me. Now that I'm older, and I feel secure in my career, I've wanted to start quilting again.
