I'm so glad I tripped over this place in my travels around the cyber world. I just finished my first quilt about two weeks ago and I can't wait to start another one. I see now why my mamaw always had one "going". I feel lost now that I'm not working on it. You have a great site and it's very helpfull for a new quilter to have things explained in such easy to read detail. I'll be back to visit often I'm sure. Thanks for all the free block patterns, I've been having a hard time finding a site that I cou d use and not just look at. I'm not sure how often you check these but I would like to ask you sometime about a Friendship quilt I saw a long time ago and haven't had any luck finding. I agree with you. There are a lot of people out there who would LOVE to purchase a book with your patterns and love to get them over the net. There's also a lot of people out there who don't have access to the net who would benefit greatly from your book. I say go for it! One suggestion would to have it, unless it would be too costly, be in whatever form would let the pages lay flat. This is the one big problem I find with all the books I have, I have to be creative to keep the pages open while working o the patterns. Good luck and keep up the GOOD work coming up with the patterns.

Just read your 10/29 letter. I agree it seems "dumb" to give away your patterns for free when you're compiling them for your book. Nevertheless your online pattern pages seem to be much less detailed than your book pages would need to be. I plead for B TH - not everyone has ready online access, and those quilters would appreciate a whole book of your patterns. Then there are those of us who resent having to buy a book full of patterns we might not use just to get one or two we really want. I invested small fortune in cross-stitch books and magazines for just such a reason, and sold many barely used ones for a pittance at a thrift sale. I'm SO appreciative that you put your ideas online so I can get new ideas and inspiration without having to buy or o to the library for patterns. It's almost like a quilting club. Thank you, and SAVE THE PATTERNS!
