Sew the two Color 4 larger triangles to the sides of the Color 1 center strip, using the standard 1/4" seams, and pressing seams towards the darker fabric...

Make two of each of the units shown at left...

Sew a Color 4 small triangle to the right side of a Color 2 /Color 4 half square. Sew another Color 4 small triangle to the bottom of that unit. Make four units like this...

Sew a Color 1 half square triangle to each of the units we just made...

Then sew one of the pieced square units we just made to the end of each small half square unit. Make two units like those shown at left here...

...and two like those shown at left here...

Now piece the block! First sew rows, pressing the top and bottom row seams to the outside, and the center row seams towards the center. Join the rows and that's one block done! :o)
