The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Nonesuch Block! You will need to print out one copy of the 6" template page, or 2 copies of the 8" page, or 4 copies of the 12" page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters will be ample!

Also cut one 2-1/2" square, or one 3-1/8" square or one 4-1/2" square for the center squares, (for 6", 8" or 12" versions, in that order!)

Once your units are paper pieced, or regular pieced, whichever you chose...sew them together as shown at left to make the block!... 1/4" seams, pressing rows in alternating directions...

The quilt is four blocks by five, shown here on its side, with a wide, and then a very thin border.

Happy Quilting All!
