Nine Patch Log Cabin - Page 2

Now, following the number order of the piecing guide at left, begin adding your logs in a clockwise fashion, around the center nine patch. Begin with the shortest Color 1 log on the right of the nine patch, then add the longer Color 1 log to the bottom...then the shortest  Color 4 to the left, then the longer Color 4 to the top...then the shorter Color 2 to the right, the longer Color 2 to the bottom...the shorter Color 5 to the left and the longer Color 5 to the top...the shorter Color 3 to the right and the longer Color 3 to the bottom, and lastly the shorter Color 6 to the left, and the longer Color 6 to the top!...and there's the block!

This quilt at four blocks by four, would measure about 72" square. Its four center blocks have a color just a BIT lighter than our previous Color 6 as their final strip to add dimension. Hope you like it!

Happy Quilting!
