** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block ** |

First lay out the corner and center square templates on your Color 1 10" x 15" rectangle. Cut out four corner shapes, and one center square... |

|
Then lay out and cut your trapezoids from the 2-1/2" x 40" strip of Color 2... |
|
|
Next layout and cut the eight small Color 3 triangles from a 3-1/2" x 13" strip, and the four large triangles from a 5-1/2" square... |
|
|
Sew a small Color 3 triangle to the top right and bottom left of each corner piece, using 1/4"seams. Press seam allowances towards the corner unit. Make four like this...on to Page 2! |
