 Sew together the small pieced strips we just made to make small nine patches as shown at left. Make four units like this...

 Now lay out all your pieced and/or cut units as shown at left. Piece horizontal rows, pressing seams in alternating directions by row. Join the rows to make the block!
  

 The quilt is four blocks by five, with sashing and borders cut from the coordinating Aberdeen Border print (see link above!)
