This makes a 12" block and is paper pieced!

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a New Jersey Block! You will need to print out two copies of the template A & B pages, and one copy of the template C page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper.

Once all your units are paper pieced...sew together the block's center as shown at far left, then piece the block as shown at near left!

This wall hanging would be a quickie to make...three rows of three blocks each, with a solid border, and extra block units in the corners!
