The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Nevada Trails Block! You will need to print out two copies of the template A page, and one copy of the template B page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper.  Fat quarters should be plenty!

After your units are paper pieced, join them as shown at left into three vertical rows. Sew the rows together, and its finished!

Shown here on its side, the quilt is four blocks by five, with a thin plain border then a  pieced half squares border. You'll want to make more squares for a bed sized quilt!

Happy Quilting!

Here's one that Judy made!
