Now piece the block, following the diagram at left for placement. First make rows, and then join the rows to make the block. Be sure to alternate pressing directions by square and by row...

 

To make the quilt, rotate the blocks so that the colors lay as seen here...OR  play around with it! This is a block to block construction, shown with a first border of Beyer Mosaic, then a thin border of a light gold Millennium marble, then another mosaic border strip. I really would recommend that you consider using Beyer fabrics for this. She has such WONDERFUL shades and variations!
