How to Quilt One Block at a Time-Pg 3

Place another quilted block right sides (TOPS) together and raw edges aligned with the pressed out (1-1/8") strip of the previous block and stitch the new block to the strip only...

Now you have this on the fronts...

...and you have this on the back. Hand stitch the folded edge of the sashing strip over the new block...

Continue adding blocks in the same manner across the desired WIDTH of your quilt, adding an UNfolded strip to the front and a FOLDED strip to the back of each newly added block. Do NOT add anything to the last block of the row...

To connect rows sew an UNfolded 1-1/8" x width or row strip to the front side, and a FOLDED 1-3/4" x width of quilt strip to the back. Sew a new row on...hand stitch the back...sew new row on...hand stitch...etc...Then just add binding to your 2 sided quilt , and Enjoy!
