This makes a 12" block and is paper pieced! This is a roughly1850's block, that I've reworked to eliminate the in-setting of those stars! |

| The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Godey's Star Block! You will need to print out four copies of the template page on very lightweight paper. |

After your units are paper pieced, join each quarter section as shown at left...
|
|
Then piece the block as shown at left!...on to Page 2! |
