** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block **

Start by cutting your Color 3  3-1/2" x 28" strip into eight 3-1/2" squares...

Then cut your Color 2  3-7/8" x 23-1/4" strip into six 3-7/8" squares...and your Color 1  3-7/8" x 11-5/8" strip into three 3-7/8" squares...

Next cut your Color 3  3-7/8" x 34-7/8" strip into nine 3-7/8" squares...

Now  cut your Color 1, 2 and 3  3-7/8" squares on the diagonal...being careful not to stretch fabrics...

Stack and then sew a Color 1 triangle to a Color 3 triangle, using a scant 1/4 " seam, pressing seam allowance towards darker fabric...make FIVE of these

Then make TWELVE with Colors 2 and 3...on to Page 2!
