Using the square template provided, cut thirteen tan squares from the Tan Print 1 4-1/4" x 15" strip.( NOTE-You can use all different tans if you prefer!- use the same template and cut from 2" squares) Also cut twelve different colored squares using the same template... |

From each of the Light Calico (shirting prints are great!) 3-1/2" x 10" strips cut two triangles using the triangle template provided. (Or you could cut four the same by cutting one 6-1/4" square in half on both diagonals to make four quarter square triangles, if you prefer) Use the same template to cut four different colored Dark Calico triangles... |

Next, using scant 1/4" seams sew five rows as shown at left, alternating colored squares and tan squares. Join the rows to complete the block's center unit... |
